Citizens’ Global Platform

World Federation of the Deaf
The organisations of the deaf have their own international federation World Federation of the Deaf, which has as members the deaf organisations of 127 countries. The World Federation of the Deaf represents its members in UN cooperation where it has an official status. The activities of the World Federation of the Deaf set great store by improving the situation of the deaf in developing countries. The key fields of activities are strengthening the deaf’s own organisations, sign language and teaching and informing the deaf.
Youth Academy
Youth Academy is a cooperation organisation of the major youth and sports organisations, which offer the youth possibilities to, uncompelled activities with other youths and increase the appreciation of hobbies and learning new skills. The Youth Academy supports young people and adults working with them, both in voluntary free time activities and in school environment.
