All our Children The organization All our Children plays a contributing role in the creating of a diverse and tolerant society, where every child is guaranteed favourable living conditions irrespective of race, language, religion, culture or origin. The organization practices child sponsorship and development cooperation.

Artists for Peace in Finland Artists for Peace is an organization of artists and cultural workers for disarmament, peace and human rights. It organises happenings and campaigns around ideas that promote peace and work in close cooperation with other organizations for peace and human rights, and support and perform developmental cooperation and cultural exchange.

Association of Teachers of English in Finland Association of Teachers of English in Finland is a pedagogical interest group of English teachers.

Central Union for Child Welfare in Finland The Central Union for Child Welfare influences social policy in decision-making concerning children. The Central Union for Child Welfare approaches society from the perspective of children and child welfare and shows responsibility for the development of the field of child welfare. Its members include 86 NGOs and 35 municipalities.

Crisis management Initiative (CMI) Crisis management Initiative is an independent non-governmental organisation responding to challenges in sustainable security. The aim of CMI is to enhance the crisis prevention, active crisis management and post-conflict rehabilitation capacity of the international community. Additionally, CMI seeks solutions to global problems through strengthening democratic practises and through a firm commitment to equitable development.

Committee of 100 Committee of 100 is an anti-militaristic peace organization that tries to make Finland an active promoter of peace, security and human rights in this era of globalisation.

DODO – Living Nature for the Future DODO is a Finnish environmental organisation that approaches environmental issues socially in an open-minded way, trying to find new perspectives.

Educators for Peace Educators for Peace aims to promote multiculturalism, peace and tolerance education among people in educational work.

Family Federation of Finland The aim of the Federation’s activities is to support families, parenthood and partner relationships. It provides services, acts as an advocate and carries out research. The development cooperation unit promotes sexual health and rights in developing countries and in Finland’s near neighbouring areas. This is done through advocacy work, by conducting overseas development projects, by doing project-related research work and by providing training and expert consultancies.

Fida International Fida International is the largest mission and development co-operation organization in Finland. It is also the largest Pentecostal missionary organization in Europe.

FinnChurchAid FinnChurchAid (FCA) is one of the major development cooperation organizations. FCA gives aid to over 50 countries annually and works as a part of the global church assistance network. FCA organises influencing campaigns and supports development education in congregations in Finland.’

Finnish Association of the Deaf Finnish association of the Deaf provides high-level expertise and other services to all age groups of deaf sign language users as well as sign language and sign-supported communication users or others who need these services.

Finnish Caritas Caritas is one of the World’s largest aid organizations and aims to promote social equality. Caritas Internationalis is a confederation of the Caritas organizations and is in charge of international welfare work of the Catholic Church. Finnish Caritas works in the fields of development cooperation, humanitarian aid and social work.

Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission is the missionary organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.

Finnish Fair Trade Association Finnish Fair Trade Association controls the Fair Trade Trademark and informs people about the trademark in Finland.

Finnish Lutheran Overseas Mission (FLOM) Finnish Lutheran Overseas Mission is a missionary organization of which the goals and practices are governed by the Lutheran Confession and principles of the Reformation.

Finnish-Nicaragua Association Besides supporting small-scale development cooperation projects, Finnish-Nicaragua Association focuses more and more on maintaining communication and dialogue of another kind as well.

Finnish Red Cross Finnish Red Cross is one of the largest NGOs in Finland. The volunteers of the Finnish Red Cross work mainly in Finland. Their work includes a variety of tasks: first aid training, friend and support person activities, helping of the youth and the elderly.

Finnish Refugee Council Finnish Refugee Council is an expert in international refugee work of which the most important task is to advance the fundamental rights of the refugees and returnees. It is the only organization in Finland which is specialised in international refugee issues.

Finnish United Nations Association Finnish United Nations Association provides information about the UN and its activities, development education, advice and material as well as organises happenings.

Immigrants Support in Finland The aim of the Immigrants Support is to improve the sovereignty of immigrants and immigrant organizations and employment opportunities of immigrants. Immigrants Support provides immigrants, immigrant organizations, small entrepreneurs and cooperatives with training and advice.

International Solidarity Foundation International Solidarity Foundation implements development cooperation projects in Nicaragua, El Salvador, Uganda and Somalia. It also carries out work in the Russian Karelia, in the border region of Finland.

Left Youth of Finland The political objectives of The Left Youth derive from an ideological basis of traditional values of the left combined with environmental initiatives. Left Youth of Finland works for equality, democracy, justice and solidarity.

National Union of Students in Finland The National Union of Students in Finland is the major student organization in Finland. All the student unions of Finland are its members. The organizations four main sectors are education policy, social policy, international affairs and development cooperation.

Operation a Day’s Work Finland Operation a Day’s Work Finland is a NGO that aims to promote the living conditions of the children and youth as well as human rights in developing countries and to encourage the Finnish youth to international joint responsibility.

Operation Mobilisation – Finland Operation mobilisation is an international organization, which works in 85 countries and on two ocean-going ships around the world. Operation Mobilisation does comprehensive relief and development work.

Physicians for Social Responsibility The aims of the association are to promote a better understanding on the part of the medical community of the ethical and social questions which concern the whole of humankind, and by its own actions strive to help solve important global problems.

Plan Finland Plan is an international development cooperation organization that aims to permanently improve the living conditions of the children in developing countries. Plan works for the children’s rights in a way, which unites people across cultural borders.

Save the Children Finland Save the Children Finland is a non-profit Finnish NGO, which aims to improve the position of every child and promotes the best interests of children.

Service Centre for Development Cooperation (KEPA) Service Centre for Development Cooperation is an umbrella organisation for over 260 Finnish NGOs interested in development cooperation. KEPA acts as a trustee and spokesperson for its member organisations.

Sports Development Aid The purpose of the Sports Development Aid is to strengthen the culture of sports and sports development cooperation in developing countries. It also tries to increase the knowledge of development education and development through sport in Finland.

Technical Colleges’ Researchers Association Technical Colleges’ Researchers Association is a scientific association that serves as an information channel and a forum for experts in vocational training and education. Technical Colleges’ Researchers Association was funded in the Institute for Educational Research of the University of Jyväskylä.

Terveysrintama Terveysrintama is a cooperation organization for experts in the fields of health, social work and safety at work. Trade Union Solidarity Centre of Finland Trade Union Solidarity Centre of Finland is the Finnish trade union movement’s own development cooperation and solidarity organization. Using trade union solidarity as a platform Trade Union Solidarity Centre of Finland wants to promote social and economic equality in the developing countries, in the Baltic region and in the new democracies close to Finland by supporting the organizations, which are not as strong as they are.

UFF Finland The main purpose of UFF is to support development cooperation projects and thus improve the living conditions of the people in developing countries. UFF support mainly projects related to education and health education.

World Vision Finland World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization and the largest child sponsorship organization in the World. It aims to help those who are the most in trouble, particularly children, without regard to the ethnic origin or religion. World Vision Finland is a part of the international World Vision network.

Workers’ Educational Association WEA Finland Workers’ Educational Association WEA Finland is a study centre offering education to associations, enterprises and public communities. The keystones of the organization are lifelong learning, learner centrality, self-direction and collective learning.
