This spring, Fingo organizes a three-part webinar series discussing the upcoming climate year, focusing on the global landscape of climate negotiations and climate finance. In the series, researchers will present their work and answer questions that concern the audience.
The second webinar takes place on Thursday 25.4.2024 13.00–13.45 CET+1 (Helsinki time).
Chavi Meattle will discuss the significance of climate finance in achieving the goals outlined in the Paris Agreement, examining the current state of climate finance, identifying financing gaps. What are the significant challenges and opportunities in enhancing climate finance delivery and advance key international discussions on major climate finance issues? What deliverables from Brazil’s G20 and COP presidencies could drive meaningful change? Chavi Meattle works as a climate finance specialist at Climate Policy Initiative’s London team, where she tracks climate finance flows, develops methodology and guidelines for various national and subnational tracking initiatives, and contributes to UNFCCC’s Biennial Assessment of Climate Finance Flows report.
Please make sure to mark the webinar in your calendar, as there will be no separate calendar invitation. The seminar takes place in Teams, and a Teams-link will be sent to participants prior to the event via e-mail.
